Background
It is a kind of cysteine protease inhibitors, also known as the gamma trace protein and gamma globulin, widely exists in various tissues of nucleated cells and body fluids. It’s a kind of low molecular weight, alkaline non glycosylated protein, molecular weight of 13.3 KD, composed of 122 amino acid residues, can be produced by the body's all nucleated cells, the rate constant.
Cycling CysC c is cleared after the glomerular filtration, only is a kind of endogenous markers to reflect the actual changes in glomerular filtration rate, and in the proximal convoluted tubule reuptake, but were completely after heavy absorption metabolism decomposition, do not return the blood. Therefore, its blood concentration is determined by glomerular filtration, and not dependent on any external factors, such as gender, age, diet. It is a kind of ideal homology to reflect the actual changes in glomerular filtration rate.
Clinical Significance
Under normal circumstances, the concentration of CysC in serum and plasma was 0.51-1.09mg/L (reference range).
When renal function is impaired, the concentration of CysC in the blood changes with the change of glomerular filtration rate.
If the glomerular filtration rate is normal and the renal tubules are dysfunctional, it will hinder the absorption and rapid decomposition of CysC in the renal tubules, increasing the concentration of urine by more than 100 times.
Product Parameters
Originally used for enzymatic, immunological rise, is now used for turbidity, monoclonal antibody instead of polyclonal antibody.
