Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori)
Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) antibody raw material for immunoassay development, reagent screening and rapid-test optimization. Source: Mouse; application: Helicobacter pylori Infection.
Background
Gram-negative, micro-aerobic bacteria that live in various areas of the stomach and duodenum.
It may cause mild chronic inflammation of the gastric mucosa, and may even lead to gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastric cancer.
Helicobacter pylori is a kind of helicoid, micro-anaerobic, very demanding growth conditions of bacteria.
In 1983, it was successfully isolated from the gastric mucosa biopsy tissue of patients with chronic active gastritis for the first time, and it is the only known microorganism species that can survive in human stomach.
Clinical Significance
Numerous studies have shown that more than 90% of duodenal ulcers and about 80% of gastric ulcers are caused by h. pylori infection.
Currently, gastroenterologists have been able to diagnose helicobacter pylori infection through endoscopy and breath tests.
Antibiotic treatments have been shown to cure stomach ulcers and other ailments.
The discovery of helicobacter pylori and its effects broke the misconceptions about the pathogenesis of gastritis and peptic ulcer that had been prevalent for many years at that time, and was hailed as a milestone revolution in the field of gastroenterology.
Product Parameters
Our superior product, good solubility, small difference between batches.
Multiple epitopes: mainly urease, a small amount of cytotoxin, flagella. Stability, good biological activity. Two huge advantages: 1. Good correlation of carbon-14 respiratory test (detection of serum); 2. Antigen can be measured in urine HP, market capacity is not large.
